Abstract
Evolution of non-metallic inclusions with Mg addition in Mn/Si/Ti deoxidized steels was analyzed focusing on their phase, composition, size, and number density. The changes in the size and the number density were discussed in terms of the wettability of inclusions with melt, and correlated with the as-cast microstructures of steels.
