- Abstract
- This paper presents an adaptive tree-based P2P video streaming multicast system under high peer-churn rate. Because peers typically display dynamic and unstable behavior during the session, a P2P video streaming multicast tree must take into account both the link delay and peer stability in order to provide a seamless video streaming multicast service with low delay. Hence, we need to adaptively update the multicast tree according to its time-varying environments in order to obtain an effective tradeoff between the delay of the tree and the relative peer stability over multicast tree. Finally, simulation results are provided to demonstrate the performance of the proposed system. (c) 2012 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
