Abstract
A technology using acetic acid derived from organic waste has made it possible to produce bioethanol, a promising biofuel gasoline additive. To optimize the configuration of the organic waste-based bioethanol supply chain network model had been developed to consider economic and environmental effects. The proposed multi-objective problem is formulated as a mixed-integer linear programming model and solved by the ε-constraint method for the solution balancing the trade-off between the economic and environmental objectives. To validate the supposed model, a scenario case study has been studied in the Republic of Korea in 2030 with the fixed organic waste utilization rate.
