Abstract
These days, classic silicon based computer’s improvement seems like up to its limit. However, more and more computing power is needed for industrial and scientific fields. In the situation like that, the quantum computer draws attention. Ion trap is one of the most promising way to realize a quantum computer. For preparing and driving ion trap qubit, we need lots of laser sources. Those lasers should have specific frequencies according to ion’s energy level. Unwanted frequency fluctuation could affect qubit's lifetime and fidelity. Therefore, we should organize laser stabilization systems. Here we use a pulse counting scheme to digitally stabilize mode locked laser based optical comb’s repetition rate and use Pound-Drever-Hall (PDH) frequency stabilization technique to lock the laser frequency.
