- Abstract
- In this study, we achieved hetero-structuring of multi-phase (CuFe)(100-x)Mn-x (x = 15, 20, and 33 at%) medium -entropy alloys having excellent strength-ductility synergy by systematic investigation of microstructural and mechanical responses. The significant hetero-deformation-induced strengthening of the alloys is attributed to the high plastic incompatibility between Cu-rich and Fe-rich phases from thermallyand deformation-induced martensitic phase transformation.
