- Abstract
- This paper addresses the development of the scheduling model for thepolymer battery assembly process. The problem is formulated as a mixed-integerlinear programming (MILP) model. The objective of this model is to maximize thetotal number of outputs. The amount of materials produced by every task each daycan be determined by this model. The MILP model is validated with data from thereal-world polymer battery assembly plant which can be represented as a multiproductbatch process. Through the case study, the model provides the optimaloperational scheduling of the target plant with the increase in productivityby 6.3%.
