- Abstract
- The high temperature deformation behavior of a 7475 Al alloy has been studied experimentally within the framework of internal variable theory of inelastic deformation. A series of load relaxation tests has been conducted for fine grained specimens at the various temperatures ranging from 190 degrees C to 516 degrees C. The effect of grain size has also been examined by varying. the grain size through a proper thermomechanical treatment process.
