In these days, component based channel assignment scheme, which can prevent the performance degradation caused by channel switching delay, was suggested as a good way for Ad-Hoc Multi-channel network. In this paper, we analyzed component combining phenomena which cause performance degradation in the networks using component based channel assignment scheme, and predicted the changes in the number of components according to the number of data flows. We proposed a heuristic routing algorithm which alleviates the component combining phenomena and verified its performance through Matlab simulation. Simulation result showed the new routing algorithm improves overall network throughput by an average of 79.7%en_US
