- Abstract
- COVID-19 has been accelerating a change in the education environment from face-to-face to online learning. While physical interaction takes an important role in education for embodied learning, there is still a lack of haptic information in the remote classroom. In this study, a cable-driven haptic device for remote embodied learning is proposed. System configuration, hardware setup, kinematic analysis and cable tension maintenance were conducted to satisfy basic requirement for cable-driven haptic device.
